Aaron Ochsenbein – Loan Officer at Benchmark Mortgage & Baseball Coach

Aaron Ochsenbein is a dedicated loan officer at Benchmark Mortgage, bringing the same passion and work ethic to the mortgage industry that he demonstrated throughout his accomplished baseball career.

A Dunbar High School graduate, Aaron earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management and a Master’s degree in Corporate Security Operations from Eastern Kentucky University. During his time at EKU, he was recognized for his academic excellence, earning a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for all four years. He is also a Certified Member (CM) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).

Aaron’s athletic journey took him to the professional baseball stage, where he was drafted in the 6th round by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He played for the Dodgers organization and later for the Lexington Counter Clocks, where he earned the prestigious Pitcher of the Year award. Now, he has come full circle, returning to Dunbar High School as a baseball coach, where he is passionate about developing young athletes.

Beyond work and coaching, Aaron enjoys watching streaming TV shows and has recently taken up golf, learning to play and appreciate the sport. He and his wife, Katie, have been married for three years and share their home with their two beloved dogs.

Aaron applies his competitive drive, discipline, and attention to detail to helping clients navigate the home loan process, ensuring they achieve their homeownership dreams with confidence.
